Looking for a Tester with Automated Quick Test Pro experience to fill a one year contract in Columbia, SC.

 

The Tester will primarily focus on developing and maintaining scripts using Mercury's Quick Test Pro for web sites and browser based desktop applications.  Provide guidance, support and OJT to other testers on use of QTP. Perform quality checks across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed. Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure delivery of quality software applications. During the testing process, monitor the system for exceptions and other items requiring post-test attention. Define and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve operational workflows. Provide service for multiple clients, including on-site service where needed.
